Valve and TPMS Sensor Replacement

A tyre that slowly goes down isn't always a puncture. A worn valve or a damaged tyre pressure sensor can be the cause. We replace both on site.

Valve and TPMS Replacement by True Tyre Mobile Service

Tyre valves

Rubber valves perish over time and can leak air slowly. We fit a new valve every time we fit a new tyre, and can replace a leaking one on its own.

TPMS sensors

Most cars made since 2014 have a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) that warns you when a tyre is low. Sensors can fail, run out of battery or get damaged during a tyre change. If the warning light stays on, your car can fail its MOT. We replace faulty sensors and help get the system working again.

Questions about valve and tpms replacement

My tyre pressure light is on but the tyres look fine. What do I do?

Check the pressures first. If they're right and the light stays on, a sensor may be faulty. Give us a call.
