• Your tyre size if it's safe to check. It's on the side of the tyre and looks like 205/55 R16
• What happened: puncture, blowout, or a tyre that keeps going down

We'll tell you an exact arrival time on the call, so you're not left guessing.

Staying safe while you wait

Get the car as far off the road as you safely can and put your hazard lights on. On a fast road or dual carriageway, wait behind the barrier, away from traffic. Don't try to change a tyre on the hard shoulder of a motorway. If you've stopped in a live lane, stay in the car with your seatbelt on and call 999.
